COOLS down HOT house FAST!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Midea for sending me a inverter portable air conditioner 10,000 BTU/h for free to review! 1. I really appreciated the way Midea designed the box! I was able to just slide the top off and not have to lift the air conditioner up and out of the box! 2. I loved that the instructions included QR codes to watch instructional videos on how to set up the air conditioner. 3. I have a vertical window and was amazed by how easy the set up was. You do have to cut several pieces of foam and tape but it wasn't hard. Once we had the window plate installed all that was left to do was connect the hose to the window! The hose is stiff. I had to pull up on it as my husband tried to clip it into the window plate. 4. We plugged it in and pressed power. We immediately heard a loud clicking. It was very loud and sounded like the air conditioner was going to break. We could see something white flying around in the fan blades. We shut the power off with hopes of trying to retrieve whatever was flying around inside. The problem was once you shut down power the automatic fan swing closes and you can't manually move it. We turned power back on and luckily the flying object ricocheted onto a small ledge inside. We were able to carefully get it out and that solved the noise problem! If we had not been able to retrieve that plastic piece we would not have been able to use the air conditioner as the noise was so loud and annoying. 5. we turned it back on and was pleasantly suprised with how quiet it was even with the fan on high. 6. I love the inverter! I took the air conditioner outside to drain after running it solid for 3 days even though it didn't have the empty code yet. there was maybe 1/4 cup of water in it. The inverter really works well and pulls the water and hot air out through the double hose. All in all I love this air conditioner. If Midea could investigate their manufacturing process and remedy what's going on with that little plastic piece I wouldn't have 1 complaint

Compact, Quiet & Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used portable air conditioners before. This one was done a lot better. Dual hoses are needed (intake & exhaust) for any portable a/c to prevent a negative pressure situation. This unit has bundled them into one semi-rectangular expandable tube. Inside the they are separated but it's done very well and because of this doesn't look unsightly. The unit came with everything needed to install in any window including weather stripping and window security brackets. The unit has 4 modes. Cool, Dry, Fan & Auto. In Dry mode you may need to empty a water reservoir but the until comes with a hose and it can pump it out up to 6 feet high. In Cool mode it is unlikely to need to be emptied. It comes with a huge detailed remote that I have messed with a few times but honestly I'd much rather use the app from my phone. It's easier to use and you can set up schedules. The app also ties with a weather service so not only will it tell me the inside temperature but it tells me outside temp and humidity as well. The unit works very well. It does a fine job of cooling and adjusts fan speed very well. I am very impressed with how quiet this unit is compared to other units I have used, my 8 year old daughter even commented on it. I did receive this product for free in exchange for reviewing it. So far I am very happy with this product and am consider getting another for a room upstairs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in an older house so AC takes forever to get to the upstairs. I put this in my bedroom and turn off the ac during the night. It's amazing. I saved so much money already it would of bought this years ago. It cools the whole room really fast. It's says 450 square but my room is bigger and even reaches to my master bathroom. It's annoying with the window, to place it where I wanted but its save money so I just have to deal.

Piercing high-pitched sound on cooling

This unit looks nice and cools well. However, immediately upon switching it into cooling mode a very high frequency ear piercing sound is noticeable above the hum of the fan. It stops immediately when you switch it into regular fan mode but starts again as soon as it's put back into cooling mode. Seems to be coming from inside the unit. I've only had it for 1 day now and I'm not sure I can deal with that if continues again tomorrow. Yikes. Also please note that most of the reviews for this product are paid or a result of a promotion.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free for my honest review by being a buzz agent! Definitely worth buying this ac. Really don't know where to start! So many features such as, remote control, Bluetooth, google assist and smart home. The color is perfect for my decor it's not that hideous white. The vent swings up and down in its own or you can have it stopped in the direction you prefer. Dual hoses, are perfect for keeping that hot air out that can accumulate from using a portable AC. The unique 1 piece hose that is connected to the actual AC it's designed so it doesn't kink. Super quiet, I would say it's as loud as your ceiling fan on high speed, definitely quieter than a box fan. The product came with everything you would need except the screwdriver, the weather stripping and foam for the window, the screws etc even batteries for the remote. The installation was easy, love that the hose clips right into the window insert. Definitely would buy another one for my other room!

the best appliance for cooling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free Midea DUO 10,000 BTU SACC Smart Inverter Portable Air Conditioner from BzzAgent to participate in my honest Review, We decided to remodel the study room, and make it more private for movie time and training, putting a door, but the central air did not cool enough (summer) so this air was the solution, it has a remote control Cools the room super fast, very easy to install, and has a lot of technology. Midea America is The best appliances. Thank you BzzAgent and Midea America.

So beautiful and so many features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the prettiest air conditioner I've ever seen! Because it's black, it just kind of melts into the background and doesn't stand out like white air conditioners. I'd also imagine that you won't notice when it gets dirty as soon because of it. I can't say for sure, mine hasn't gotten dirty yet. It works better than advertised and really cooled of the space I put it in. There's so many features that I haven't even tried yet! My favorite is the "swing" which is like oscillation on a fan, but it swings the vents up and down. You can feel the air circulating from across the room! It comes with a very chic remote with an LED screen that you can control it and even set your favorite setting to just click on. I will say the remote is white and not black, but that didn't bother me, it's still pretty. There's an app where you can control the ac with as well. If I ever need another portable ac I'm definately buying another one of these!

Very quick and easy to install

The instructions are very clear and it was very easy to install it. We are very happy with this and definitely would recommend it.
