I am so happy with my purchase. I looks great! It didn't take me too long to assemble and I actually decided to use the top 2 tiers separately from the bottom tier-which I loved to have as an option! My vegetables are already starting to grow and I can't wait to plant a few pumpkins separately in the larger, bottom bed.
I bought this raised planter based on the great 4- and 5-star reviews. My experience was not great at all. 1) The boards were bowed, which meant that there were gaps in the sides. 2) An electric drill was needed to seat the screws, as the holes weren't drlled all the way. 3) The screws stripped easily. 4) The end blocks for the last tier consisted of 3 of one type and 1 of the other, when I should have received 2 end blocks of each kind. Fortunately, I was able to improvise and figure out a way to use the incorrect block - not pretty, but possible to do. 5) When I finally got the thing put together, it was very flimsy and unstable. I've got to wait until the weekend when I have some more time to get some metal brackets to stabilize the thing. Sure am glad I didn't pay full price and that I didn't order a second planter (which I was tempted to do initially).
I like the way you do business. The chair and the garden box is of the best quality. Thank you for a very good experience. I will always remember to make you my go to first. THANK YOU.
Some of the slats were slightly curved making it difficult to put together straight and the long screws would go in at an angle and poke through. More time intensive than I had anticipated and I have put together other garden boxes before. I also had a power screwdriver to use. If it lasts at least 2 years is probably worth it as I got on sale.
