Nicely made, beautiful, but a couple niggles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a lovely appliance which does what it's supposed to -- heat water to a precise temperature. My two minor areas of improvement are the lid, which needs to open further for cleaning and the strange behavior if you choose boiling and set the temperature hold at the outset. If you choose 212 and hold temperature, the kettle never beeps or shuts off. However, if you press the hold temperature by button after the kettle has boiled and beeped, it's fine. Also, no problem when choosing any temperature below boiling.

Sexy and Functional!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The most gorgeous appliance I own, and also one of the easiest to use! The cool touch exterior is so nice, and an excellent safety feature for a curious cat. The touchpad is easy to use. I just boiled my first pot of water and it took less than 5 minutes!!
