New addition to kitchen appliances

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to make movie theater popcorn and kettle corn! I did not want to buy another appliance for my home but tried it out. The popcorn made from the machine tastes better than the microwave. It is so much fresher and I can use my own butter and oils. I do find that the container is annoying to clean since it is not hand wash safe but it’s made its way into my appliance stash

Perfectly popped and buttered popcorn every time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are a popcorn family then you need this Orville popcorn maker! I’ve used it so many times since getting it. It cooks every kernel perfectly so nothing is wasted and you don’t have to worry about it burning your popcorn. The butter melting feature is amazing! It drips down while cooking so it spreads evenly. The maker is very easy to set up and use. It also comes apart in all the right places so it can be cleaned thoroughly! It’s not too noisy and it’s actually really fun to watch the popcorn popping, especially while the butter is coating each piece. It’s great for a single batch or for a party sized bowl, so it can be used for many occasions. Now that I’ve tried it I wouldn’t want to go without it!

Great concept but improvements could be made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The concept is great, and i appreciate the stirring rod to keep the popcorn moving, but I think there could be some improvements. The lack of ventilation makes the popcorn not as light and fluffy in texture, and instead more chewy which I don’t prefer. I do like the popping lid to bowl concept, as it makes cleaning simple, but I do wish that the bowl was dishwasher safe. Cleaning of the popping base does not feel very thorough since you can’t get it wet. With the base oily from popping, I wish there was a better way to clean it besides just wiping it with a damp cloth. I have been wiping it with a cloth that has some dish soap and then re-wiping with damp cloths, but it extends the cleaning process.
