Audio is great. Only issue I had was setting it up since I had to get the update via my PC to make sure BOTH buds worked via the dongle.

Very comfortable and clear and rich sounding Earbuds. I enjoy hearing the full range of music. The earbuds work equally well on my phone and I can connect with a clear conversation.

These are my first pair of gaming earbuds, in fact my first earbuds period. I have only used over the ear gaming headphones for my PlayStation consoles forever, but after receiving these JBL's and pairing them to my PS5? I was simply blown away. I had noticed before buying these that many were returned and for the life of me, I don't understand why, because IMO these are a high quality product from JBL.
Let me go over why I love these so much. First the feel and freedoms of not having a bulking headset while gaming or listening to music which I was equally impressed with.
As for the sound? It had that punchy bass, clear treble I had never had before with my the over ear head sets. And the volume on these are powerful and loud. I actually had to turn in down.
I'm not sure why there were so many complaints about the battery life. I played for a little over their suggested time getting well into the 20 hours range on a full charge.
Then there is also the ease of use with just a few taps left or right, no more searching for the scroll wheels or buttons to find with most over the ear headsets.
Pairing these to my cell and PS5 was instantaneous. You get a notification, "Dongle Connected" as well as by tapping the left and right buds for other options.
The charging case has a magnetic portal where the buds easily fall into place. You also have a slot to store the dongle. It also has 3 charging lights while connected with the Type C cord that let you know when running low or fully charged. Another fine attribute.
Moving on to the ANC. This was my only gripe. I live in extreemly noisy environment, NYC. While it was drowning out some of the noise while gaming I was still able to enjoy my playing time. For me personally? The Pros far Outweigh the one small Con.
As for the mic? I can't comment on this as I am a loner when I play my games. However, while talking with a friend before buying these he mentioned if I could give the mic a try once I'm up and running with these since he is also a gamer that might be interested in buying these if the mic quality is good. Once we give this a shot? I will add it to this review in the near future.
My final thoughts. JBL has knocked this out of the park. They are an amazing pair of earbuds. Everything from the comfort, the sound, and the ease of use has got me convinced I will never wear over the ear headsets again. Excellent Job JBL!!!

Great Sound, Poor Battery

These headphones punch out great sound, but battery life is mediocre to say the least. You are lucky to get 2 hours.

This isn't the experience we want our customer's to have with our products. It's possible that the battery is losing its capacity. Knowing that the unit has a full charge, but turns off shortly after powering on, means that the battery has lost its capacity. Please contact us and we'll assist with your warranty replacement.

Good Sound, Great Battery!

Good sound quality. Great fit. Battery last almost all day. The one negative is that the connection can get messed up and I can't hear anything. Though that is resolved by disconnecting and reconnecting to my phone.

Great except battery life too short for real world

The sound is clear both ways (microphone and audio). Fit is great and they are easy to use. Battery is horrible. I listened to a 45 minute webinar and made a couple short calls (10 min or less) and one 37 minute call and they were dead. Less than 2 hours of use. Everything else is great. Fix the battery and these would be the best things out there.

Thanks for your feedback. It is possible that the battery of your JBL Quantum TWS is losing its capacity. However, it is also possible that the battery is working correctly but depletes more quickly when the volume is very loud and/or the bass has been boosted. Please try to charge the battery to 100% and then listen to music without any bass boosted, and at a very low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to-playtime, the battery is working fine. However, if you get less than 90% of the published spec, this likely means that the battery is losing its capacity. For further assistance, please contact us.

Save your money and buy something else

These ear buds are basically garbage. At least once a day one or the other just won’t connect, which requires me to reset them and start over. They are also super uncomfortable. I’ve only had them a month and am ready to toss them and buy something else.
