Started making face masks for friends and family, and plan to work on Christmas decorations for gifts. I found the Singer YouTube tutorials very helpful to initially set up the machine, wind the bobbin the first time, etc.

Bobbin trouble

When I could sew the machine worked very well, I looked at the troubleshooting pamphlet that came with the machine and still kept getting thread bunching up where the bobbin is. I am in the process of returning the machine. I used practically a whole spool of thread in trying to fix the problem and still was not able to get done my own project. I had such high hopes with a new machine.

Being a beginner, my first machine was a hand me down that just never really quite worked RIGHT. I had this machine threaded and running in minutes! I wasn't sure about the computer part- I LOVE IT! Old machine was manual so to get anything other than zig zag you had to manually do all kinds of stuff. I love how this mchine stitches various types almost automatically!!

This product is a no go. Same error C4, however nothing is tangle in the machine. I try to work with this product , but this product do not work as it should. Customer service is the worse, and not very friendly. I had purchase an Brother Project Runway, and it work's great.

I rated it as a 1 star for now. I had to send it to a Singer repair center as it did not work when I tried to use it. The machine would make a "whirring" sound but nothing happened. It is still at the service center. Hopefully when I get it back it will be a great product.

Love it... Sews smoothly. Thread guide is amazing. The only thing I would change is at the end of a stitch I wish the needle would set into the fabric instead of coming up. Other than that LOVE LOVE LOVE!

After three years of use, I have not experienced any problems! I mostly do basic projects, so I can only speculate that it may struggle with heavier fabrics. So far it has only mildly complained at a stack of fleece.
