[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this sewing machine for me and my wife and it was absolutely perfect for us. My wife and I both love to sew and make all kinds of different things for our kids, family, and friends and this sewing machine really impressed us both. What makes this sewing machine perfect for us is that it not only does so much better then the one we used before, but that it is digital and gives us plenty of options to choose from. It is really easy to use and the instructions is very clear and understandable and we got the hang of this sewing machine pretty quick. With all the different options it makes whatever project we have in mind be so much more easier and quicker to do. We both was impressed at how quiet it is too. This is definitely a must have.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good stitch variety

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a complete beginner at a sewing machine, so this was interesting to say the least...lol. The instructions however are not for beginners so I had to turn to the web and look for videos. Also there is not a manual in the box, which is RIDICULOUS to me. It does have some nice features and add ons that I do love. It was super easy to thread the needle through because it has a lever that you move to automatically thread it through, the 60 built in stitches are pretty awesome also. You can adjust the tension of the thread manually or it automatically does it on its own. I am still learning a lot about this machine and how to master sewing, it is definitely a process! There is a compartment in the front that you can store extra accessories that is awesome. There are lots of different features that I have not tried yet but I love it so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the ease of use of this machine--easy to thread, easy to use, literally plug in and go. Highly recommended for those with and without sewing experience! Singer machines never disappoint!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome sewing machine and a big upgrade to the older one my wife and I have had. It's really nice that this machine has a screen and lets you program different things for it to be able to sew. It comes with a nice accessory kit to help you get started. The machine feel and looks quality and that it should last a long time. There's a small learning curve to figuring out all of the different settings and options you can do with the machine but overall it's great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for beginners!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted to learn how to sew and this has been a great beginner machine! There are over 60 different stitching patterns so you can find exactly the style you like. The machine is very easy to set up and use and after a few practice tries I was off and sewing away! I have even able to fix holes in my clothes and even started working on a a pattern of a handbag! The machine is very great quality and is simple to use.

Great sewing machine for all levels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sew Mate 5400 Sewing Machine from singer is a great for a beginner to hem up pants, repair busted stitching on clothing, pillow cases and sheets. The ready to read display makes it a breezy to select from the 60 preset stitch patterns. The led lights provides a great amount of light to the area sewing area. I am really going to enjoy learn how to do more project using the other pattens programed into the sewing machine.
