I’m a complete beginner, and this is my first sewing machine. I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I am really enjoying learning how to sew with it! Simple start up, with a quick learning curve. Very easy to use for a beginner, and I would definitely recommend it!

I’ve used the machine a few times, so far so good , I had to get the hang of it but overall it’s a good machine.
I’m a beginner and teaching myself how to sew, so if your nervous about getting this machine don’t be pretty easy to use .

I love this new machine. You can speedily sew across thick pleats. The built in needle threader is great. Had to work at it for a while to figure it out but I got the hang of it now. You have to make sure the presser foot is in highest position and needle is in middle position with stitch width at 0 to keep it in middle, so that the little hook will come thru the needle when you pull down threader arm to use the needle threader . Love the see thru drop in bobbin to know when thread on bobbin running out. Love the press down lever to reverse stitch as I never had that, my old machine 40 years old had a difficult to push on reverse button. Great machine & I'm so glad I didn't try to get a cheaper machine to save money as this machine is worth every penny and as people say it has all the bells and whistles . Very happy with this purchase.

This machine only lasted me 6 mos. motor seized up and it just had issues. I doubt I will be buying a Singer again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It’s not heavy duty I try to sew over elastic and it won’t sew so stressful I need to return it and buy the brand brother better

Love It! Exactly as expected!

Love this machine! I’ve been wanting this machine for months but ever since the pandemic I wasn’t able to get one until now. I kid you not this machine sews like butter and hardly makes any noise to bother anyone. I absolutely love this purchase. The only issue I have with this machine is the needle being just a bit crooked. To get it centered I have to move the needle position all the way to the right and the automatic needle threader still won’t work because of the crooked needle. I have to manually thread the machine myself. I’m still happy with the overall performance of this machine.

I sew professionally and was looking for a heavy duty reliable machine with basic options. Happy to find this Singer. Also, visual appearance is very important for me, so I really love this classic minimalistic design.

Easy to use once the thread was installed properly. Instructions were just a tad unclear using the auto thread. Got it to thread accidentally; so I need to figure it out again the next time I have to change threads. Sure wish there was a video for that. Otherwise, the machine is great! As a first test, I sewed up a pair of jeans and stitched it on that thick seam. It sewed it with no issues at all. So far, I am very happy with this machine.
