I'm not a great seamstress. I know very little and just wanted a machine that would do simple tasks. My sis was in town visiting. She IS a great seamstress. We set up my new machine so she could show me how to make masks.
Now, HER machine costs more along the price of a car! But she was very impressed with this machine. She thought the accessories were great. She also mentioned that the machine sounded really good.

I bought this to take the place of my 20 year old Viking that was not sewing properly. I like the simplicity of this machine compared to my old one. Stitches look good and it can sew fast on the straight lines. This is considered "heavy duty", but it does not seem to have any more "power" than my previous machine. We will see when I start using heavier fabrics. But, right now this machine is doing the job and I got a new machine for $50 less than it would have cost me to have my old Viking "looked at".

This machine is wonderful. Since my vintage sewing machine died of old age about five years ago, I have bought several replacements, spending much more money, but they only bought me misery. After continually saying bad words and suffering many headaches, these sewing machines were sent to the attic or the curb.
I was hesitant about buying yet another machine, but this sewing machine does every thing I need, lovely stitch, sews over thick seams, fast and dependable. I have not yet tried the buttonhole stitch, but the many built-in stitches are beautiful and easy to access.
I am a professional seamstress with sixty years of sewing experience, and although I have only charted about 70 hours of use on this machine (having bought it about a month ago), I am very pleased with this product. I would recommend this machine to my closest friend.
