The only issue I have with this machine, I ended up getting the one with the presser foot adjustment knob that sticks up on the left side. This was cranked all the way down and we spent too much time trying to figure out what the issue was and then went on YouTube. We figured it out but there was quite a bit of frustration for the group trying to use the machine. I had purchased a 6380 model prior to this one and wish I'd purchased the same machine instead of this one. The 6380 seemed to have less issues overall. This is a secondary machine for when friends are visiting so not my main machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have used the machine. Easy to setup and liked the power. Biggest problem is that you have to hold down the reverse direction switch to sew backwards.

This is a simple great machine. I've the same model# for over 30 years and just gave it to my daughter for her to learn how to sew and bought myself a new one the same model#. It's been just as great so far.

Mostly pros, some cons.
Pros: good speed; can sew heavy fabrics, comes with walking foot (wonderful!); has a foot tension dial; winds a good bobbin; haven’t tried the buttonhole function yet; removable arm is easy

Cons: the foot is not changeable by hand!! Unbelievably, you need a special tool/screwdriver and have to turn the machine on its side and have super-dexterity to just change the foot!!; bobbin cover pops on and off but is difficult to get in (as opposed to one that slides); throat is smaller than my 1990s lower level Singer; needle placement does not seem to align with the seam guide lines (e.g., 5/8 isn’t accurate); bobbin tangles easily until you get used to turning the wheel the right amount after done with a stitch run;
