I worked with this machine before, and my past experience was not so great. Now having it for myself, I had time to sit down and get to know the in's and out's a bit better. I now know I misjudged it's capabilities, and have a new found respect for this model. I'm happy I gave it a second chance to prove me wrong. And it did just that! And under "our current circumstances" customer service was very good and Susan was very helpful! I'm happy with my purchase and could not have asked for a better experience. I sew home decor - curtains, pillows, bed skirts, etc. I use heavy upholstery fabric also. This is the BEST machine that I have ever used (and I have had many sewing machines). It handles these thick fabrics so well and it is so easy to use. From beginner to experienced and even to professional - this is the best workhorse available!
