I am so happy with this sewing machine. I am a beginner sewer and this sewing machine is so easy to use. I previously owned another sewing machine of a different brand which was terrible. I have absolutely no issues with the singer heavy duty model. I would absolutely recommend this sewing machine to everyone.

I sew home decor - curtains, pillows, bed skirts, etc. I use heavy upholstery fabric also. This is the BEST machine that I have ever used (and I have had many sewing machines). It handles these thick fabrics so well and it is so easy to use. From beginner to experienced and even to professional - this is the best workhorse available!

I like the auto threading the needle function is great. And the easy selection of the pattern using a knob is great. The machine is lighter and easy to move.

Bought the machine for my sister, who is an experienced seamstress, and her old machine died. She was telling me that she needed a new one and had her eye on this one, but they were sold out every where she looked, so I looked and found one. She's using it to make masks to give to people because of COVID. She says she can't believe how powerful and quiet it is over her old one.

I worked with this machine before, and my past experience was not so great. Now having it for myself, I had time to sit down and get to know the in's and out's a bit better. I now know I misjudged it's capabilities, and have a new found respect for this model. I'm happy I gave it a second chance to prove me wrong. And it did just that! And under "our current circumstances" customer service was very good and Susan was very helpful! I'm happy with my purchase and could not have asked for a better experience.
