This is an easy machine to use. I had to brush up on my sewing machine skills by watching some instructional videos, but it's like riding a bike. Once you get back on, it all comes back. A major improvement since my previous machine is the drop-in bobbin feature. So much easier to use than the older models. Very happy with my purchase.

Horrible machine overall. Arrived damaged and has already broken 4 needles in less than 10 hours of use. Considering the price tag and the overall reputation of singer, I expect better. Have since filed for a refund.

Very complicated to use and terrible, unhelpful instructions, both in the box and online. Customer service is horrendous -- no reply to multiple emails, and phone number listed does not connect to a representative. Very very disappointing customer service and abysmal operating instructions.

I bought this machine to replace my old trusty singer to use as a backup. Well, it now takes its spot as my primary machine! It's so easy to use! And that reverse stitch? Amazing. I don't even have to stop sewing to use it. I love when I step on the pedal that there is no delay unlike some other computerized machines! It can get so frustrating when my other machine dictates how fast i can go. Free the pedal! This machine takes off from 0-60 in 1.2 seconds! Simple, no nonsense machine, with just enough features to not overwhelm you with all the high falootin-ness. Get this machine and git er dun!
