I've only used it to make masks but I've been working with very thick canvas (the thicker the better, right?) and the machine has performed very well. Nice even stitches even over multiple layers of thick canvas. Excellent machine.

Bought the machine for my sister, who is an experienced seamstress, and her old machine died. She was telling me that she needed a new one and had her eye on this one, but they were sold out every where she looked, so I looked and found one. She's using it to make masks to give to people because of COVID. She says she can't believe how powerful and quiet it is over her old one.

I use it for everything and it does great. Works wonderful on jean material and other heavy fabrics, but it also is wonderful for all other materials. Main things that I miss on this product is a needle down position and adjustable speed. I have that on my other Singer machines.

I use this machine for sewing garments and making masks right now. What I love about it is it has the capability to sew through thicker areas without jamming up. I also like the fact that it is not overly computerized like my other machine. Much simpler controls and nice even stitching. Although I am not fond of the needle threader, overall I am very happy with this machine.

I have had NO problems with this machine. I bought it to do heavy multiple layer fabrics including dog collars (fabric and web with ribbon or fabric). These can get pretty thick and so far it has not had any problems with the multiple layers. I am happy with this machine.
