I had a Singer when I was a teenager, MANY years ago. Loved it then, love it now. Especially the self-threading feature, it is a game-changer!!! My eyes aren't what they used to be and makes it VERY difficult to thread a needle. Machine is well-made, and quiet. Can't beat a Singer!
I waited a good while for this to come back in stock and boy am I glad that I did. I have never sewn on a machine before in my life. This is my first machine and first experience. I was up and sewing withing hours. This machine is so easy and when paired with the app it's like a little private class in itself. The rave reviews on all the youtube videos are completely justified.
This was my third Singer. Quality has gone down and customer service is non existent.

Easy enough for beginner use, yet functional enough for more advanced projects. Finding a sewing machine was tough since Covid. I was able to get the one I wanted direct from Singer. Not only was it a great price. I got it in a couple days with standard free shipping. I'd order direct every time now.
I have used this machine for one project so far. It runs very smoothly no matter the speed you sew at! The thread and bobbin are super easy to put in, and the additional supplies make it easy to switch presser feet and store needles and other supplies. The reason I am giving this machine 4/5 stars is because of the needle positioning wheel. I am not sure how this happened in the construction of this particular machine, but when the position wheel claims the needle is set in the center position, it is actually 1 mm to the left of where it should be (yes, I measured). If I find myself needing the move the needle's position, I have to carefully realign it to true center. I know 1 mm doesn't seem like much, and maybe it doesn't affect the inseam of any patterns I sew together in the long term, but I prefer to trust that what my machine claims is the center position is actually the center position.
Singer is the brand that has always been used in my family.

I just got my sewing machine. I have not used one in many years. I tried it out and absolutely love it. I can't wait to get started on my sewing. It's very easy to use and has many great features, which include my favorite, the level that threads the needle.
