I bought my first sewing machine 40 years ago. I sew infrequently but need a quality machine to be there when I get the urge to make some pillows or curtains. So much to my distress, as I decided to make some facemasks during this difficult time, my machine broke. I decided just to get a new machine. I didn't need or want any bells and whistles, just another very reliable machine and this one certainly fit the bill. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend.
This machine reminds me of my old Kenmore I had years ago. It is so easy to use and thread. The stiches are perfect.

I've only had this machine for a few months, but I absolutely love it! It really can handle anything ~ I made a heavy-duty totebag and the machine had no trouble with even the thickest parts. It's easy to use, runs well, and I've had no thread tension issues (my great-grandma's old Singer, the machine I grew up using, *always* has problems with thread tension). My one complaint is that it sounds a bit like a plane getting ready to take off!
