Really enjoy how well-designed is this machine. No-fuss filling. Inexpensive filters. The fan noise is just right, and I enjoy the occasional gurgling. Appears to be very well-made here in the U.S., and like it will last a while. A large unit, it is smaller than the large, old Honeywell it replaced, working better within the room.
I purchased this to help humidify room air for a family member on oxygen delivered by nasal cannula as an adjunct to prevent drying her out. It is well constructed and easy to assemble and easy to clean the filters with vinegar. We are pleased with this purchase
This is my second double tank evaporative humidifier from Vornado. My first lasted 20+ years. They work well, are quiet and give my furnace humidifier the assistance it needs to get moisture into our house in winter. I have guitars and other musical instruments that require it. Two thumbs up!
Been using for several weeks and no issues or problems. Works well. Makes light gurgling sounds as the two water reservoirs replenish the area inside the unit but nothing bothersome. Will put it away for the summer soon and pull it out next fall. If I have a problem its nice to know this company is US based. I have a Vornado fan that I bought almost 20 years ago and its a workhorse and not bit of problems, thats why I bought the humidifier here.
Being from Kansas, I was excited to find a product from a Kansas company. The large revivors of water last over 48 hours. My humidity in my house went from 30% to 60 % in a short amount of time. I am completely pleased with this product, with the service, and the price (which was under most competitors)
I purchased this for my elderly mother's two-storey-tall living room. All my life, she's had regular sinus infections, and I did, too, until a doctor told me to get a humidifier. So I purchased this one for her in the hopes that it would help. It's surprisingly easy to use. The tanks have handles on them that mom can carry easily. At first, the way to load the tanks seems odd, but once you see how they go in, it's easy to do again. The filters are easy to install, and the controls are self-explanatory. Not yet sure of how it's doing in this ampitheater-esque living room because I haven't brought over my humidity monitor, but it's quiet, easy to use, and easy to maintain, so it's been worth it for those reasons alone, because any help for mom's sinuses is better than none right now!
