I live in Arizona where it is crutial to add humidity when you sleep. I had that exact same model in my bedroom for the last 20 years. The day it died, I went online and bought a new one immediatly.

Have used for ~3 weeks. Appreciate ease of cleaning the unit & filling tanks. Due to advanced shoulder arthritis, I fill it from pitchers vs carrying tanks to & from sink. It’s on a table so needs enough space to tip tanks out and flat for filling. It is quiet and humidifies adequately in a 1250 sq. ft. apt.

This is the 3rd one of these that I've purchased - the first 2 lived long lives and eventually wore out. I've tried other humidifiers, and this one is easiest to use, produces plenty of moisture, and is quiet on the low setting.

I have had this humidifier so long I can't even remember exactly when I bought it. It has to be at least ten years ago. It is great function and simplicity. It humidifies well and its' simple design makes it easy to use and care for. The 2 large tanks keep you from having to refill too often. I actually like the filters. It makes it feel clean and fresh. Someone complained about them but even though I have hard water and have to replace them a little more often I don't mind. It has been durable and I don't have to think about it I just get it out every year, easy peasy. A few years ago I thought this model was gone but here it is again and I'm so glad it's back! I will probably buy another to have two. It's the best.

Somewhat disappointed

It is advertised that it will humidify a large area. It barely does that. I purchased it mainly to provide humidity for my piano and I need to run it at high in order for it to reach 40%. It does not shut off when it is empty which is a minus. Having wheels on the base would make it easier to move.
Pros: Adjustable, Durable, Stable Base
Cons: Lacks Power
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The last vornado I had lasted 20 years. So glad I could get this replacement one!
