I’ve used several other humidifiers and always worry about the water level but with this one having two tanks and I can make other adjustments it’s by far the best one I’ve ever used or purchased. I do wish when refilling the tanks the style was different because I tend to make a mess when placing the tanks back in the machine and due to the weight and size, I’m not able to pick it up and just carry it around.

Have been using this Tornado humidifier for about two months and, overall, am very pleased with it. Does an outstanding job of keeping a large bedroom at the proper moisture level. The fan motor is relatively quiet at high speed and very quiet at the lowest speed. My one complaint with the unit is the it "gurgles" when water from the storage tanks refills the reservoir; at times, this noise can be disruptive to sleep.

Some little difficulties - with the very cold weather the humidifier has a problem, even on high, of keeping good (40's%) humidity, Also when looking at it the right side empties first and later the left side. I changed the receptacles and it was the same. It is the construction of the machine not the containers. Otherwise it is fine.

This is my 2nd Evap 40. My first one still works excellently, so I purchased a 2nd one for another area. The Evap40 is steady, reliable, fills a room with moisture quickly and efficiently. There are 2 water containers, so they run quite a long time between refills. Very please with this Model.

Glad I listened to mostly positive reviews and bought this. Not extremely loud, raises the humidity well and easy to refil. Comforted knowing safe for my bird. What would it make it perfect? A warning light when water is getting too low. I have to squint at the water level and lift up the containers to see how much water is left. Bought bacteriostatic, after confirming with Vornado that it's safe to use.

I bought my first Evap40 a couple years ago and last month bought my second one due to the size of my house. I run mine continually through the winter and have had no trouble. The one I just received only came with 1” wicks which was disappointing because the 1.5” work much better.
