I've been using this for about a month, and really like it. It is super easy to fill, and I love that it has two tanks. The design is just great. However, the gurgling sound it makes as the water empties from the tanks wakes my husband up in the middle of the night. It hasn't bothered me, but if you are a light sleeper keep that in mind!

I bought this a month ago and it works great. My throat is no longer sore when I get up and the sound doesn't keep my wife up at night, since it's so quiet. Plus the product is not made in China as is made in the US.

I needed an upgrade to the humidifier we use on the first floor of our house. This humidifier does such a great job we can run this on high for a day to catch up and then turn it down to maintain a good level. No other humidifier we have had could put this much water into the air.

I bought two of these humidifiers and find them very well designed. The tanks are removable, easy to fill and install, and the entire unit very easy to clean, even though I noticed absolutely no buildup inside the units following several weeks of use. The units were still very clean. I appreciate the face the base is very lightweight and only a couple of inches of water sits in the base, while it slowly refills, not only keeping it cleaner but allowing for ease in moving or emptying for cleaning...lightweight.

I read many reviews before purchasing the Evap40. As expected, the Evap40 works great. It is also easy to fill the removable bottles. I was wary of purchasing a humidifier that required pouring water into the humidifier from a pitcher. That would have taken too many trips to the sink! We have been running ours non-stop since we got it.

I've had this unit for about 2 weeks. and it's ran constantly. Also, I've owned and used other humidifiers for years.
Overall, this will work for a large room, but pay attention to the size of room indicated in the marketing material and you'll be very happy. The two storage bottles are designed with high integrity, they are exceptionally easy to fill and replace. It is easy to view the water levels so you can glance to see when filling is needed. One side usually empties first and then the second one starts emptying. Since there are two bottles, with handles, transporting to and from the water source is easy. This makes it easy to manage the refill schedule as the humidity in the air will change the frequency of refill needed.
The unit is noisy on the HIGH fan setting, but I use medium and it's not annoying at all. I have only this one humidifier in the house and it's in a great room that is 50% larger than the unit is rated for. I live in Austin Texas and this time of year, it gets quite dry. The unit is able to keep the humidity between 45-50 which works for me and my grand piano. I fill daily and it doesn't run empty. I purchased direct from the factory and I'm very satisfied, but feel it's retail price is about 10-15% high. I don't like to pay middle-men and like to support US manufactories, so I paid more than with Amazon. If you can fill daily, you will be very happy with the performance when used as described.

The EVAP40 is great!

Have been using Vornado humidifiers for 20 yrs. The EVAP 40 is the best yet. Like that it has (1) no gaskets that can leak (2) no sharp corners that can break and leak (3) two tanks - easier to keep unit from running dry. Cleaning is easy when using a non-toxic, unscented, residue free humidifier treatment.
