Happy At Last!

We are absolutely thrilled to have found this humidifier. We've tried many over the years, and just pretty much tolerated each one of them until we found something a little better. The Evap40 knocked it out of the park, and ticks every wish on our wish list. It's SO quiet, it's a little work horse, easily taking care of our large living and dining space. (The humidifier we've been using for many years is a behemoth, and took up so much room and was so loud.) And it's so easy to refill. I don't think I can over-stress how important this little guy is for our health!

I bought the Evap40 about 2 weeks ago and it has been going steady ever since it arrived with the exception of a couple of rainy days when I didn’t need it. It reliably keeps my hydrostat at a constant 64% where I want it. I keep it on low fan speed and medium moisture and it is perfect. The air is cool that comes from the unit. I am a very light sleeper and have never been disturbed by the fan noise or gurgling of the tanks. I’d even go as far to say that I sleep more comfortably therefore soundly with the humidified air. I do use a bacteriostatic/water treatment because it takes a few days to go through one tank of water.

I can't say enough about this. It humidifies an 800sf main level and a 400sf loft bedroom fully. It's quiet-ish even at full speed and very quiet at low speed (use once up to desired humidity level). The large dual-reservoir system is great because we only have to refill once every day or two. It's not stylish like some other ones, but as a result it blends in a bit more and simply works.

Had an older model that's lasted 10+ years. Bought a few fancier ultrasonic models that just broke down after a few seasons so when it came time to replace them I re-bought this one which was tried and true. Not pretty and kind of bulky but definitely puts moisture in the air!

Large reservoir tanks make it easy to leave unattended

We have an indoor greenhouse that needs humidity over the winter months. We needed a humidifier that we could leave in place for weeks at a time, and the EVAP40 is perfect. Air circulation and humidistat are awesome features, and “Made in USA”, makes it the best product for our needs, AND the best value.
