Bad screens

My honest opinion is do not buy it unless you plan to use it as a desktop. The screens are week and apparently cannot stand up to normal everyday use as a . It runs smooth for the most part. Maybe a couple glitches in the HDMI here and there when running a samsung TV for a second monitor. Otherwise performance is fine. The screen however, not so much. As many others experienced, I randomly noticed a crack down my screen that eventually spread. The rest of the computer was pristine. I expected some pushback being physical damage, with no real way to show what caused it. Most likely the paper thin screen coupled, extremely thin and flimsy bezel, and the fact that the glass screen comes in direct contact with the metal (and any speck of dust, sand or debris) every time it closes. I had to battle samsung back and forth and start a BBB complaint before Samsung decided to fix it. Sadly this will be the last Samsung purchase I make. Dont make the same mistake with this computer until the screen issues are addressed.

I do like this laptop. It's fast, stylish, and responsive. My two big issues with it: 1. Having two settings. Its a bit cumbersome to change Samsung setting and/or Windows setting separately. It would make more sense that Samsung settings live in the Windows OS app. 2. The function keys are not permanently locked. Having to turn the functions on/off is annoying when on Dell or HP, you simply turn the brightness up or down by hitting the key in the top section. With these laptops, I have to hit FN+F12 to then be able to simply adjust settings. Please fix Samsung!!

Love the cross functionality between devices like they are an extension of each other with seamless action across apps. Samsung is the best money can buy, hands down.
