Odd noises?

Compressor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator cools as expected. However, the compressor and fan run many hours a day. A call to the appliance store confirmed this is normal, but they also stated that the new type of compressor being used will not last as long as older models. More energy efficient, but shorter life span. Sounds like planned obsolescence to me. Very sad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great budget friendly refrigerator

I bought the same refrigerator because it had the space I needed and it was budget friendly. The old one was still working after 10 plus years so I am hoping I get the same from the new one.

Huge storage and great basic fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my fridge. Stays the perfect temp in the cooler/freezer parts both, and it’s a fantastic choice for us since we just moved into a small duplex. It’s the perfect size for my boyfriend and I, with plenty more room for leftovers and groceries than we could need.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We appreciate no frills

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been so far a short time in use. It functions well. It would be good to purchase two temperature gauges at the food store kitchen isle (one for frig,one for freezer) so as to determine if air flow and temp is working to the amount of products inside each compartment to how many times you're opening and closing the doors.
It's good enough size for 2 people (and a small dog for whom we make&freeze fresh food every10 days.
Read the book and understand the controls for adjustments.
I do wish the shelves were a little more sturdy.
Possibly. Perhaps an single post for at least the bottom shelf.
There's no deli drawer and that's fine for us - we do not.eat cold cuts and besides we use sealed containers.
We lived for almost 2months with a mini frig,so, to us This low price frig is a luxury.
We appreciate NO FRILLS. Frills break down...our last maytag had a major freezer issue...again, this whirlpool is a comfort and luxury (all about perspective...we are thankful). We have a whirlpool dishwasher, all is well, very quiet like this little frig.
The small size also makes it less burdensome for the movers.
