Excellent Refrigerator-Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I didn’t anticipate the need to purchase a large appliance such as a refrigerator/freezer, this Whirlpool made the process worthwhile. I enjoy being able to control the temperatures in both the refrigerator and freezer. As I compared options, I leveraged consumer reviews and energy ratings to finalize my decision, and all feedback solidified my decision.

Does the jobs, works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to fit in a cramped spot in our condo, which it fit perfectly into. The only issue was switching the door to the other side. The lower hing pin holes didn't line up, but I got it to work eventually. Works great.

A disappointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am highly disappointed with my purchase. Due to my kitchen size, this was the biggest fridge that I could get.
Storage space is a priority concern for me. When I attempted to put everything back into my new fridge, I could not fit all the items back in. The capacity is much smaller than your previous model. The trays are not as deep and have a plastic white border that is not even with the rest of the tray resulting in even more lost space. I am happy that the butter container on the door now has a cover as your previous model lacked one, which was totally absurd, making that space unusable. At least there, your design team exhibited some sanity. Otherwise, they seemed to have been guided by a desire to make it look pretty rather than keeping its basic priority of food storage in mind. They did not even think that once the trays are loaded with food, the design element is no longer as evident. Of what use is it to me for my fridge to look pretty when empty? Go figure. Another concern is the quality of the plastic of the vegetable trays. The plastic does not seem as strong and durable as your previous model.

Working to keep things cold

We are pleased with this new fridge which is used as a spare one in our garage. We have no complaints and no regrets.

Noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited 5 months for the fridge. It was out of stock at the appliance dealer. It makes a lot of different noise such as gurgles, studders, rumbles. It's brand new. Should it be doing this?
