Spacious and Does Job Well

I got this refrigerator a month ago and it works very well. It's very spacious. I have a family of four and I never fill it up.There are only three settings, but refrigerators shouldn't need much customization. It should be smart enough to know what temperature is adequate on its own.I wish the shelves on the door were more customizable and movable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Every thing is great except the wire shelf's. Would have been great but things bottle size don't stay standing on wire shelf's

I've only had this refrigerator for a couple of weeks, so that should be kept in mind.What I like about the fridge is that there are so many "shelves" in the door to put things in. I was able to fit every bottle and jar I have in the door. A very efficient use of space!I also like the clear drawers in the refrigerator so that I can see what's in them.However, the refrigerator should have more options to place the shelves. I had to remove one of the shelves in order to get tall items to fit. It would have been so much better if Whirlpool had given more options to place and configure the shelves in the refrigerator. This would have resulted in substantially more usable space! Instead, I've got a lot of wasted space.The placement of the shelf in the freezer is TERRIBLE!! There is WAY too much room on top of the shelf. -- Frozen food keeps falling out from me having to stack things so high.There is barely any room at all to put frozen items below the shelf.It would have been so much better if the user could move the shelf to a more useful height. I've never had things fall out of a freezer before because I had to stack them too high.I haven't gotten my electric bill yet, so I don't know how Energy Efficient this model is.

Our previous refrig was a Whirlpool that lasted 34 years with no problems. So decided to stay with brand.This is a great model - the electronic temp control is better than old style where you turn a knob.Two negatives, otherwise would give excellent instead of only good rating - a bit more noisy than previous Whirlpool, but in turn, more roomier. Noise is not a major concern just noticeable.We have cats, wonder if cooling coils will clog - way to clean requires rolling out unit and then removing a back panel that's screwed on with a number of screws. Will see how that turns out. I'm handy so probably not a problem for me, but would be for my wife.

Lousy temperature controls

We bought this refrigerator as a 2nd refrigerator in our unfinished basement. Without seeing it, but looking at the images on-line, it appeared to have separate thermostats for the freezer and fridge compartments When it was delivered, we found there is one thermostat located in the fridge compartment and an air flow control in the freezer compartment. We are very disappointed by this. It is not what we thought we were buying. We had to set the thermostat to the warmest setting to keep the fridge from freezing and increased the air flow in the freezer to get it to freeze. I hope this holds up and works with these settings for a long time since there are only 3 temperature settings and the air flow can't be increased much more. Also the sliding tray does not slide. I can't figure out how to get it off the rack to move it to the other side.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
