Pleasantly Surprised

I wasn't a big fan of side-by-sides but I wanted an external icemaker and my space was limited. So happy I bought this! Has ample space in frig and freezer and ice machine works great!

Fan making crazy loud noise after only 3 months

Extremely disappointed in this fridge. The fan is making an ungodly, loud noise after only 3 months. That is just not right.

Very pleased with the looks and roominess of the inside of the unit. Nice design and pleasant exterior view. Would like a longer warrantee than one year for the purchase price.

We just purchased the GE side by side refrigerator. I appreciate the quality and workmanship of this appliance. The touch pad on the door front is a nice feature---don't have to open the door to make adjustments for temperature control. Bright lights inside and it is easy to clean. We also like the sample of stainless steel cleaner included with our purchase...no scrubbing to clean the front. Just wipe on and wipe off for a beautiful shine! Thank you GE

Better than the Frigidaire!

Always had GE appliances and they lasted a long time. When replacing, we bought a Frigidaire because it was counter depth. Cut the cabinet height, plugged it in, and it never got cold. Tech said it either had no coolant or it leaked out. Needless to say, we were unhappy and went back to GE....should have never switched. Only issue is that it is kind of noisy, but it works! PS - a nit, but the light in the freezer never worked.

I bought this about a month ago because it had ice and water in the door and fit my space perfectly. I like how it looks. Stainless could be made easier to keep clean. Ice maker tends to jam up and spit all over the floor.
