I like the way it dispense ice. I like the temperature feature. I like the different compartments inside the refrigerator.

ice maker is garbage

i blought this item march 7 2015 and the ice maker wont produce ice and the spendal that pushes it out is broke also. Very diappointed in the GE product

Perfect size plus I & W dispensor is a bonus

Bought it because it was 31" wide and the opening I had was 32". I also wanted a side by side with a water and ice dispenser which this has. Its perfect and GE was the only one I found that fit my criteria.

The refrigerator is what I expected except 1/ frost occurs in freezer area for no good reason and 2/ the plastic ice cube conveyor broke when needed to convey ice cubes to the dispenser. I was surprised to discover it is made of plastic and not a metal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had a Ice and water dispenser problems after about 2Yrs. Now the ice maker will not stop making ice when the bin is full and over filling the ice tray and leaking water and freezing up the ice bin. It creates big mound of frozen water and breaks the auger. I have replaced the auger 3 times and a complete bin when the plastic parts broke. Both draws have broken. Plus this model does not have a water filter. (at least mine doesn't)
