Not what I expected

It has not energy efficient rating. There is water and ice in door but does not have a water filter causing me to hire a plumber to attach an inline filter. It seems to hold a good temperature but runs often.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Noisy when it runs

Our choice was limited with the space we had available and we wanted
a color to go with our other appliances. The only refrigerator available was a side-by-side refrigerator-freezer. It is frustrating to get at the foods because of the depth; we
need to remove foods to get at the one we want. At first I was ready to call to see
if another shelf was available.

We are grateful to have a refrigerator in the basement as my large tupperware
does not fit in this refrigerator. We just had a 16" pizza and that did not fit
in the refrigerator.

Perfect size that I needed!

This frig was the only one that would fit in the space that I have in my smaller kitchen. It fit perfectly and the ice/water dispenser was a plus. I've had it installed for only a week but it has worked flawlessly!

Just the right size

This is the only side by side fridge that fits into my very small, slide in space. I had a beige GE side by side for 22 years and loved it. Decided to buy another one, but picked stainless steel to make the move to a more modern look. I am a bit disappointed with the finish - constant smudges and fingerprints - and I find it VERY difficult to clean, even with special stainless steel cleaner. Other than that, the fridge is great! Sharp looking, works perfectly, really nice water/ice dispenser. If you need this size fridge for your space I highly recommend it. Just be aware of how to keep stainless steel clean.

This refrigerator was installed in our new mobile home. We requested the side by side with the water and ice in the door assuming it had a filter since we had never seen one without the filter. We were disappointed when we found out and are now having an inline filter installed. We were at fault for not asking the appropriate questions when we asked for the refrigerator. It has started making a very strange "thunking" sound. We will see what happens next.

Really like the stainless steel. Compared to my last GE this one is deeper so it seems to hold more. Also like the freezer better.
