Stupid: Small refrig w/ Space Wasting water/ice

I had the version of this refrigerator without icemaker, water dispenser from years ago.
No way to get it without these now, they are not removable, and take up huge amount of space. Knocks out at least one shelf in freezer, and several in the door. What are they thinking? Not happy.

Just the right size! It holds everything we had in our old refrigerator, plus the added convenience of cold water, and cubed/crushed ice. Quiet running motor. We love it!
