I have only had this refrigerator/freezer one day, but I am very pleased with it. I have only a small space and it fits perfect. For a small refrigerator it seems very roomy.

no water filter

really surprised to discover that this refrigerator does not have a water filter. My fault for assuming that a refrigerator that cost this much would have one. I definitely would have selected another one with a water filter if this had been know.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

old frig in old house unfortunately died. had trouble finding anything that would fit in our small space that had any features...then GE saved the day. Thrilled with all the features we gained for the loss of a deli drawer in the end. took a while for the plastic taste to go away with in door water but otherwise great.
I would recommend this to a friend!
