Gorgeous Fridge

My new GE bottom freezer refrigerator was installed on Monday and I am very impressed with it! Lots of room and the ice maker is very handy.

"Fred" our new fridge!

So far so good. I like how the ice storage is a drawer. Large & tall containers (wine, milk, etc.) fit nicely in the door. I didn't give 5 stars because I'm still dealing with the adhesive removal from reversing the way the door swings open. Still smeary & sticky in top right corner even despite putting a lot of "elbow grease" into cleaning it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice looking

The black is very nice looking and runs quietly. I like the adjustable shelves and the fruit and veg drawers are nice and deep. I gave it a 4 star because it took me a couple of hours just to remove the plastic and adhesive left behind from the packaging tape. GE needs to use a different kind of tape. My friend had the same problem

Basic Refrigerator

Had to replace an older GE side by side. Even though it's much smaller in cubic feet - the interior space a single door allows for is so much better. Went from a stainless steel finish to a black finish - my daughter is happy that she can now magnet things to the refrigerator - and black is much easier to keep clean than stainless. One thing I did not consider was the space the replacement was going into - now I have an 1 1/2 inch gap around the refrigerator. Otherwise a I am happy with the exterior & interior design.
