Great Slate

Love the slate color. The whole bottom drawer thing I'm not impressed with the concept. If you like chest freezers you'll love it! I just don't like bending over and having to DIG for things at the bottom of the pile! Other than that we are pleased with our purchase!!

I bought this several months ago and am pleased with the performance. Needed this size but the bottom freezer drawer is too small and difficult to see items which end up on the bottom.

the shelves are easy to customize, doors open/close nicely; temperature is great. water injection for ice maker is quite loud.

Very poor design

The main compartment of the fridge is consistently 5-10 degrees warmer than the vegetables drawers. This means that to keep my milk at a safe 38 degrees, my lettuce and cucumbers are down in the vegetable drawers at a freezing 30 degrees, rendering those drawers useless for storing vegetables.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Only had this for appliance for a few days and still waiting for the other shoe to fall! It's quiet, attractive(slate is a winner!) and meets all of our demands. AND it's a GE!

I am referring to the fridge with French doors

I purchased the fridge with french doors, the only problem I have is that the doors will not close on their on, you have to push them closed

My old refrigerator was a freezer on the top, so I wasn't sure I wanted freezer on the bottom model. So far I really like this model. The one drawback (or blessing) is that my 7 year old can't reach the top shelf. But the veggies and fruit are at his eye level.
