iPhone user switch

I am a 10-12 year iPhone user and I made a large switch to Motorola. This has been the BEST purchase I could've made in the big 2026. While adapting to the software and the hardware has been slightly challenging, I will not be rejoining the apple community. I love my moto razr and the colors are absolutely the best part.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Slow functionality wrapped in a breakable shell

I bought this phone less than 6 months ago for fast functionality and a smaller footprint than the average smartphone. Unfortunately, it doesn't deliver on the first one, and the second one is fueled by the gimmick of a folding phone and less real user-experience improvements. The camera is laughably slow, so don't plan on taking any quick photos with it. The back-screen controls feel poorly ported over from Android's basic features, meaning you'll run into sizing issues, lack of room for gestures, and non-UX-friendly button sizing (especially when trying to turn off your alarm, good luck fumbling around with that one).
As far as form goes, I appreciate the side-button that doubles as a thumbprint reader, the volume buttons that swap orientation when closed vs open (top is always + volume), and the folding feature is nice, or at least it was until it randomly decided to split in the center after I retrieved it from my pocket for normal use. This renders the entire top half of the screen unusable.
It was actually a breath of fresh air to go back to my outdated Pixel 7.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A must have phone. Superb performance and plenty of storage and with 16 gig of ram it's a hard one to beat. Highly recommended.

A 90s japanese commuting dream

I love this freaking thing. Really can not believe that Motorola of all companies made this phone. The outer screen is perfect for commuting on public transportation while checking email and switching podcasts. Android is pretty close to stock android without Motorola crap in there. For real for real its a sweet phone

Great All Around Phone

I think the phone is fantastic, easy to read and simple to use. Everything is very clear on the screen and it was simple enough to transfer all my information from my old phone to the Razr.

First Motorola phone in over 15 years

I purchased and have been using my razr ultra for a month now. Great phone, I highly recommend it.connectivity, to networks, wi-fi, and all my devices is flawless. Bringing over applications from my previous phone was easy and complete.
