Good and bad

I recently purchased (Dec 2010) this cell phone after using my old one for over 7 years. I thought I made a good decision to update myself technologically; however, I quickly learned that the apps are slow to operate, the bluetooth adapter does not link with my headset, car bluetooth and my laptops. The software to update on the computer is only good for Windows XP but nothing available for Windows 7. The customer service department does not return calls or responds. In short, I recommend a different phone with a reliable service with "less" gadgets to make it run smoothly.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, bluetooth does not work, takes 1-2 mins to turn it on, slow operations such as opening e-mails etc
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Weak and unresponsive

This phone is a piece of junk. It is weakly constructed, its performence is weak, and it barely works in its stock configuration. It is an overpriced and over rated waste of time and effort. On paper it is a good phone, but it is no where near what one wants in reality. This phone causes more frustration than it provides convenience. The front "soft" buttons rarely work on the first try, and the android OS is very outdated. Supposedly there is an update coming spring 2011, but until it is out and all bugs are fixed... do not buy this phone!
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations

Too Much Issues

Since I got my phone I've been having trouble with it, my phone is too slow, sometimes it says that my computer doesn't recognize it, it always have problems with the micro SD card, the last thing it did was that it erased all my pictures, videos and music, I have changed the phone. but the problems are still the same, I'm getting so frustrated, and honestly I don't want these kind of phones no more, I'll prefer to cancel my line.
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations

Great phone for great price and company

i had this phone for a month and love it. a little slow but works great waiting on update to 2.2 but the phone is good for all things no complains would recommend for anyone and for someone looking for a good reliable android phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: battery life can drain if dont close apps
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terribly disappointed

Have regretted this purchase immensely. Was very excited that Virgin Mobile had a smart phone and thought the Intercept would be a great introduction to the "smart phone" arena. Constant problems since the purchase: Battery extremely problematic -- inconsistent charging/battery drains quickly with little use; Android system constantly "foreclosing"; system is incredibly slow (with virtually nothing other than the preloaded Apps). Overall, a great disappointment. I can't rely on this phone to work properly when needed.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, poor battery system, android system has bugs
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchaesd this phone on January 15th and have had nothing but problems sincethen. Drops calls, freezes, shuts down on its own, you have to remove the battery and reboot it before you can do anything. It is slow and definately not worth the money. I will never buy another product made by samsung for as long as I live.

It was very slow and now with the new update i cannot text or call people. I hate this phone and I have decided to get a blackberry.
