Phone was great for the first week that I had it. After a firmware update from samsung everything changed. The Manual hasnt been updated so I cant find anything, speed Dial is no longer avalible, phone is slow, applications dont work or lock up. I loved the phone at first but now its bad......
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terriric Phone!

I don't understand the naysayers. No, it's not the penultimate 'Droid phone ... but it isn't advertised to be. If you're new to Android phones and are unsure if you want to sink mega-bucks into something you may not like, this is your 'entry phone' that is more than just that. What it *does* do is work nearly flawlessly, performing precisely as it should. 'Nuff said.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Glitchy

I have had my Intercept for 3 mos now. While I love the phone most of the time, sometimes I just want to throw it. For a while it was very glitchy, would freeze, and wouldnt respond. Then about 3 weeks ago I received an update and NO GLITCHES OR FREEZES :). But now I'm having a hard time again. Takes 4-5 attempt to turn the phone on again after it has been turned off, and the automatic screen orientation does not work all the time. I would not recommend this phone to a friend until the glitches have been resolved. I have heard of others with the sam eissues. Love the camera, apps are great, love the android market, email works great, texting is a breeze, absolutely love speach to text, fast most of the time, google maps is awesome, DO NOT USE "WHERE" for directions! All 5 times I have used it , it brought me to the wrong location!!!!!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, camera, apps, android market, user friendly
Cons: glitchy!, freezes, auto screen orientation does not always respond
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I would buy this phone again in a heartbeat!

This is my first "smart phone" and I would buy it again. The issues I have are minor at best and I have a feeling some of them are network related.
There is a little lag sometimes when opening programs but nothing I can't get over. I love the qwerty keyboard and in phone keyboard giving the option for the typical touchscreen keyboard or the physical one, which I prefer.
This is a great android phone for the price and I don't personally see why someone would pay so much more for other phones and monthly plans.
My biggest issue is the battery life, when using the phone and apps the battery lasts several hours and every other phone I've ever had I could get to last for several days when I first bought it.
I love the features of this phone, I love the design, I would recommend this phone in a heart beat for anyone who wants a smart phone but doesn't need the newest and greatest one.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought three of these phones for our family and are going to return them. A day doesn't go by that we don't have to restart the phones so they work properly.
Plus we have Handsfree bluetooth systems in our cars and the bluetooth is very unreliable. We'll be talking and the phone disconnects from the car. Sometimes it will reconnect but most of the time we have to restart the phone.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, needs updated
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Intercept is Amazing

Samsung Intercept is awesome! The Keyboard is more than useful, it is very nice to have while texting. The keys are great for texting, very nice *click* to them. It's spaced out quite nicely, the keys aren't crammed together like other keyboards. I would prefer the keys to be raised a bit more, but it is a slide out keyboard so that might be asking a lot. There are a few oddly placed keys but overall the keyboard is awesome.
The volume of the Built-in speakers is quite impressive, you can actually listen to music on the speakers. It works quite well on speaker phone as well, there is a little bit of a delay but not terrible by a long shot.
The battery life gets me through a full day of moderate use, constant use about 6 - 8 hours *depending on the apps I am using*. The automatic popup that tells you that you have 15% battery left also dims the screen and turns off the back lights to the keyboard and home buttons, saving the battery even more.
Overall this phone has been very impressive, battery life is good, fairly cheap, and sound/volume are awesome. I have definitely recommended this to friends, they have been impressed by this phones battery life, comparing it to there phone, and are also jealous of the slide out keyboard.
Thanks For the Amazing Product Samsung!!!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, android™, volume, apps apps and more apps, keyboard
Cons: Not high def

I've had this phone since Black Friday. This is my first Android phone and I love the QWERTY board and its design. At first I had struggles with maintaining battery life but being so customizable, I was able to fix that problem. Great phone with great features.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, nice design, qwerty board
Cons: Not high def
I would recommend this to a friend!
