Not what I wanted

sprint gave this phone as a replacement and it was no where near the quality of my previous phone.
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lots of potential

I have always loved Samsung products, but I am sad to say I am not a fan of the Intercept. The lag time is beyond my patience control. I am on my second battery, but I don't think the problem is with the battery. Not sure what the issue is. The features are awesome, downloading apps is a piece of cake, but surfing the net takes too long, the phone shuts off by itself and takes 5 minutes to get to ready mode. Some of my apps freeze, some don't. I am ready to trade this one in for a new one.
Pros: Bright display, Durable
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased the phone back in 2010 when I was out of state. I wasn't sure what type of phone I was looking at getting at the time. I knew I was wanting something sleek and performed well at the same time. I learned about the Intercept and found out it was just what I was looking for. It's really not a bad phone at all. The camera is great and the "slider" option with full keyboard made texts so much easier. I have had the phone since late 2010 and still use it to go on Wifi and shop around. Overall, it is a well put together phone.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: becoming obselete
I would recommend this to a friend!

Low mem slow processor

Processor freezes for no aparent reason. Thought it was the first unit but after replacing situation kept happenning with second unit. Not many apps to be on memory without having Memmory full messages. Even if transferring to SD card (not all aps could be transferred). Changing from screen to screen is a slow task ranging from 1 sec to 10 secs (normally takes from 3 to 5 secs to change screens). Volume buttons are too sensitive and should be placed elsewhere.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, no flash for pics, sloww

I have a love/hate relationship with my phone

I picked my Intercept because it was stylish and had the qwerty which I prefer. I love the keyboard. It's really durable. I like that it comes preloaded with a task manager and an app that gives me access to my files. I hate that it takes a couple of mins for my phone to turn on or off. I have to pull the battery all the time because my phone freezes. You can't lock the screen when your talking on it. It can't handle alot of the updated apps, so I have to go in and unupdate them. It's super slow. My phone randomly restarts. It can't handle alot of popular games so either your phone freezes when you open it or it just doesn't open at all. I've had to uninstall several games because it doesn't just effect it when I try to open it, it slows my phone down overall. The phone just freezes randomly without warning. I've replaced it once already because it just stopped functioning :(. I frequently get forced closed out of most things. I'm on my 2nd one in less than a year. It's so frustrating!
