It really gets slow after a while. Sometimes it doesn't ring long enough to answer.

Don't buy this phone

I've had this phone for 1 year. I am having problems with it dropping service all the time. If I shut it off and power it back up it will work for 3-4 hours then it goes down again. I was out of town the other day and my family was trying to reach me. I did not realize the phone was not working until I tried to make a call. It wasn't working so I did the off-then-on process. I had 6 missed calls and 6 messages that had been made 4 hours prior. Needless to say, when I can get a new phone, this one goes in the garbage!!!!!!!!!
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good in its day but showing its age

In the rapid, ever-evolving world of cell phones, this Samsung Intercept through Sprint Mobile was great in its day, but is starting to slow down and become a dinosaur. In all it's a great phone, I love the full slide QWERTY keyboard, the size and weight are just fine and so far it has handled very well, rarely dropping a call (I'm in central Ohio.) But as of late, the last 4-6 weeks it has shown some signs of its age, it is slowing down and sometimes becoming unresponsive when trying to unlock the home screen, opening an app, sending a text etc. I have a few Apps on here and some games, but the memory and storage space are barely tapped by any means, so I cannot understand the slow down in performance. The phone will soon be two years old and like all of technology changing so rapidly, this one will certainly be due for an upgrade to something slimmer, faster, brighter and more fun. The day of the Intercept has come and gone.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good 1st time Smart Phone

I purchased this phone as a begginer phone for my son. It was fairly easy for him to figure out and use without a problem.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, too small of a display
I would recommend this to a friend!

There are lots of features in this phone. However, not one of those works well consistently. The phone hangs up very often in between a task. May be 2 many features have been added compared to the processor and RAM. I will not recommend this phone to anyone

I got this phone as a 'hand me down' from my mother in law when she upgraded. The first month was okay, but within two months, my hubby and coworkers have all heard me raising cane about the problems I've been having.
The phone chugs, badly, when trying to perform a simple task, such as opening up the phone directory, or trying to open my texts. God forbid I try to go online with this thing. I'm running on a 3G data plan, and similar phones with the same 3G service load MUCH FASTER than mine! There's too much bloatware and no way to remove it...I had no use for about a third of the bloatware that came on the phone and was not pleased that there was no way to remove it without rooting the phone. Don't even get me started on the memory or processing speed either.
I would seriously recommend not choosing this phone because you'll be wanting to pull your hair out within a months worth of use.

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, not enough control with software, not enough built in memory, not enough processing power period.

This is my 1st Android. I enjoy the phone, & would definately reccomend it to anyone looking to upgrade to an Android system.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

My wife had hoped this phone would perform well for occasional browsing and email. It did not meet her expectations.
