Could be great but feels buggy

I like the phone features (Bluetooth, pull-out keyboard) but there seems to be issues with the UI. Specifically the phone will randomly call various contacts when I have not requested it to, even with the keyboard locked - not good for the phone bill. The touch interface seems unfinished and inaccurate at times, lacks polish. I wish there was an update to the Android OS, but I can't find it.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was a Blackberry user before. Much better HTML viewer.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight

One of the worst performing phones I've ever owned, Crashes a lot, processor is too slow to run android properly. Just not a good phone, bypass this at all cost. Especially considering the Epic is now super cheap, and works so much nicer.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, horribly slow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I find that the processor can lag behind; especially, when I travel from one county/region to another.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Good phone for price

I have had this phone for several months and although it can be a bit slow at times it does its job well. i recently went fishing and fell in the river and after about 20 minutes in the water the phone still works. So if your going to be around a lot of water then maybe this will be a good phone for you. Not the best phone but i never had any complaints other than its slow to respond to phone calls.

I hate this phone!

This phone never works! I shouldn't even pay for a data plan for it. Of course I'm contracted into for another several months which means I'll just keep hating it. I wish I would have known!

I think this was a trial and error phone for Samsung. They packed this phone with features, made it a size that was popular at the time. I don't think the software was totally pulled together like it should have been. A couple of updates and this phone would have rocked at that time. But Samsung chose to move on to bigger and better and they did.
