1st smartphone and was very excited the day I got it....but it pretty much has been a little unspectacular. Do not get me wrong I like it..just do not LOVE it...It kind of is like going out on a date that you know is going know where but you go out because it is the best thing for you at the time.
The phone constantly freezes...uugh hate this...have to take out battery and restart. Which brings me to the other point...battery life is sub par...I cannot go a day without charging it ( I have GPS turned off and apps I do not need) so I think it could be better.
It takes about 4 mins to get started up...jeez It needs one of those cranks like the old cars had years ago to get started..maybe that would help...seriously I turn the phone on take a p break and come back and it may be up and ready..
The best and only things I love is its android and I have a bizillion apps to choose from. I have VM and I hope that with the release of FROYO things will be better

I have had Samsung products in the past and loved everyone of them until now. The Intercept was the worse upgrade and purchase I have ever had with a mobile phone. I was going to wait until my next upgrade period with my phone service but I do not think I am willing to keep this phone one more minute. I hate this phone since the upgrade of the software.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, screen freezes, phone calls will not complete

Cool Phone - Low Battery Life

Love my phone, but the battery doesn't make it through a full day. The keyboard is made for longer fingers than I have.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: short battery life

Every other day, the phone tells me that the charging has been paused, due to battery being too hot or too cold

On my second phone...

I was hoping that I would be able to put all my problems with my phone in the past when it was replaced... but now that I've had the warranty replacement for a few months, I'm just as disappointed with it as I was with the first one. In just the last 3 days I've had to tear the back off and pull the battery out 4 times to restart it and it has also restarted itself once. The camera is very slow to capture a photo, the phone can be really laggy, most of my calls have to ring multiple times before I can even see who is calling me, the screen doesn't orient on a regular basis (unless I slide the keyboard out), and there are also many apps in the Android Market that I cannot use because the Intercept is a lower-end phone (in my opinion) and force closes a lot. I cannot wait to be eligible to get a new phone.
Pros: sliding qwerty keyboard, decent size
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, force closes a lot, locks up constantly

Nice features, easy to use

I basically like this phone quite a bit. Some features take a bit to get used to. I like the slide-out keyboard, which makes it very easy to type (except you keep hitting the volume control key with your fingers - that's why I gave it only 4 stars on design.
It's pretty fast, but does regularly come up with errors on loading websites. The e-mail crashes regularly. This might be my provider's coverage problem, too. I am still working on handling that. Good sound quality, good picture quality (little grainy). Overall a decent phone for the cost. Display is too dark when you are outside.

problems with usb conectivity not to mention restarts on own constantly lags with froyo update.
