This is the worst phone I have had in 20 years. Im on my 4th replacement in the house (my daughter has one too). THEN, since this update for the Intercepts, things just got worse. I would never recommend this phone to anyone- awful.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The worst phone I ever had

This is the worst phone,I ever had, very slow, terrible touch screen, its ringer's volume changed itself, and it is hard to work with it, when you are in a hurry, the internet surfing is very slow, and in my opinion, it doesn't have any positive point.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got my Samsung Intercept in November 2010 and it works great. I love the combination of hard and soft keys on the front and the sliding QWERTY keyboard. The apps that I have installed all work great as well. This is one solid phone.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable
I would recommend this to a friend!

Charging cAble

Inferior charging cable. Metal retaining tangs on micro USB flatten and cable will not hold into the phone to charge. I expect a cable to last as long as the product life cycle, certainly more than 6 weeks.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: poor accessories

Pretty good Android phone for a person who can't get a Droid or HTC. Samsung quality, touchscreen feels exactly like a DROID's. Only drawback is lack of RAM keeps it from running higher end games.
SMH its an ok phone thought the 2.2 update would help alot more in stead of a lilttle more.

Touch Screen is awful

Overall the phone is good but if the touch screen doesnt respond one more time I might through it in the fireplace. The screen never works when I need it to, I press one icon and a completey different one that is not even close opens up. What really makes me angry though is when I attempt to unlock the phone by drawing the pattern. I finish the pattern then the lines go in a completely different direction which causes the pattern to be wrong, it takes me about ten minutes just to unlock the phone
Cons: Not high def, Did not meet expectations, touchscreen
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Has pretty good features. 3G works good. About the only thing I have trouble with is sometimes when you hit the back button you need to do it several times to go back. I think it is because it is more of a "touch" button then a push buttonso sometimes you just don't hit it correctly. All in all, good phone and options and I am happy with it. Am happy so far with the no contract plan as well.
