absolutely disappointed. Samsung is a great brand name and I think you've tarnished is with this phone. It contantly freezes and have recently had a hard time even getting it to load back up after turning off. I've waited as long as 20 minutes for it to load up. It's a phone there is no way it should have this many problems. I have less problems with my 7 year old computer. All I can say is completely unsatisfied
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, constantly freezes
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a good phone. My only qualm with it is it does not have a notification light so show a missed call, text or message if you are not with the phone. I should be able to look across the room and see a blinking light to know i missed something, as opposed to unlocking it to see.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm the guy everybody goes to for information on technology. I looked at every phone from every carrier and the specs and the price of this phone are hard to beat. The best part the price is a lot cheaper and you're not even on a contract. There are some features lacking like a flash for the camera and it feels almost too light but hey, for a prepaid phone its the best.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased this phone as business phone while I was attending business school. It worked great while I was in the city, but once I left to visit my parents all service went out the window because it runs off Sprint's service. As soon as I purchased the phone I took it to my dorm to transfer music on it and ran into many problems.
1. Samsung was shipping the wrong USB cables with the phone. You can charge the device, but not put digital content on it unless you have a MicroSD Card reader or adapter.
2. The battery life was lasting maybe 10 hours a day. I would leave for school with a full battery and by the time I got back to study and off work (with minimal use) the battery indicator was flashing red. At times I would connect the charger for only a minute or two and the battery meter would display 45% charged. This is how I discovered there are calibration errors between the battery and Droid Operating System on the phone. A month went by and my battery was barely lasting 3 hours on a full charge. If that's not bad enough it overheats so easily that I even got an error message stating that "Charging is paused, Battery temperature is too high" even after having the phone lay on my bed for several hours not doing anything I was still over heating.
3. Droid packs a lot of great features but the phone's 300MHz processor lags the system a lot. Expect to spend some time waiting for the phone to unfreeze. Keep in mind that it doesn't support many Droid apps because of the poor performance.
Other than that its a solid phone. Or rather a liquid I should say. Text-pad feels great, touch screen is very responsive, sliding feature works great, and so does the infrared track pad. Bottom line, if you want to save some money and just need a phone with extra features and flexibility, granted that you're in the city then I'd buy it. If you're one of those people that must have a cell phone for business or social media then don't bother. This phone will have you pulling your hair out and possibly wasting your minutes if your waiting for it to unfreeze and end a call.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, bad battery life, ships with wrong accessories, slow phone, overheating issue
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall this is a great phone. We purchased it online from a national chain that had it on sale after Christmas for a cheaper price than we paid 3 weeks earlier for my wife's phone. After seeing the functionality of the phone for my wife, we had to get a second one. We are on a pay as you go plan with 2 of these phones and my old phone to my son and we're still paying a lot less than if we went with a "family plan". We get decent anytime minutes and unlimited text, email, data & web. The inability to sync email, calendar, contacts, and notes from a certain program I'll call "Lookout" is the only reason I gave this phone 4-stars on the Features above. As "Lookout" is the most widely used personal information manager, I was surprised that the OS used on the phone was unable to synchronize with it right out of the box. Most applications to do this for free also do not cover the wide functionality of "Lookout". Overall this phone is a great deal! I'd gladly recommend to a friend!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, ease of use, many free apps, "wow" factor
Cons: inability to sync w/lookout w/o 3rd party app, had to purch 3rd party app to sync w/lookout
I would recommend this to a friend!
