Very disappointed

I needed a new phone as my iphone had slowed down drastically in the 2 years I had it and I badly needed a new phone as well as a more affordable service provider. I chose this phone because it was the only android phone available and was initially impressed by the fact that I was able to load almost all of my contacts information just by connecting to my emails. However this was short lived as it has made it very difficult for me to add numbers to existing contacts by instead showing error messages and not allowing me to do it at all. It freezes at least once daily when I have an incoming call (very embarrassing seeing this is my business phone) and at times rings but doesn't show the incoming call at all.
Another feature which has disappointed me is that when browsing the internet it only shows part of a page but still showing the type too small to read. You actually spend more time zooming in than actually checking out the content of the website. Its really a shame though, this phone has some really good features, they just dont always work.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

Unreliable and difficult to use as a Phone, Android features great

This phone is horribly unreliable. It freezes up at the most inopportune times. The browser freezes constantly and the phone itself freezes and becomes unresponsive. The worst part is the phone functions - it's often difficult to answer a call as it requires pressing & holding the "ACCEPT" button as the phone often does not recognize that the button is being pressed. Of course, then it rolls over to voice mail. Retrieving voice mail is infuriating, again due to the unresponsiveness of the phone. When attempting to retrieve voicemail, one has to enter in one's PIN, but since the phone usually does NOT recognize the pressing of the dialpad keys, it fails to recognize the entry of the voice mail PIN. Naturally, the voicemail hangs up after a couple failed attempts.
Sometimes it takes as many as 10 calls to the voicemail to retrieve my voicemails and of course, Virgin charges for the attempts as airtime used.
Definitely would not recommend this phone.

I love my Intercept!

I love the features and the design. The screen is bright and clear. I love the apps, nice loud speaker for the music. This phone has it all, especially for a student.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: kinda slow, bit on the heavy side but not bad

seam to me that the people that had problems with the battery did not charge the battery for the full eight hours then either kept the phone on the charger or did not use all of the battery power because i have had no problems with my phone,
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: a little hard to figure out, not enough phone case options

Do you not see the dots you have to hold the talk button until they are all green pay attention then the phone will pick up and downlaod a home replacement it helps with everything I have live home

i love the phone. its the second samsung phone that i have owned and would recommend it to anybody. it does have its moments where it runs a little slow at times but other than that i love it.
