Meets my expectations

I'm not going to rant about the features this phone lacks, because honestly we all bought the Intercept knowing it didn't have a camera flash, etc. Instead here's a summary of my first week with the phone.
+ Android is awesome
+ On-screen keyboard takes some getting used to; slide-out keyboard is great
+ Excellent call quality
+ Camera takes pretty good pics
+ Sprint plans are a great value, especially on a smartphone
- Touchscreen occasionally becomes sluggish and/or un-responsive; if you give it a few seconds, it usually comes back to life. Once, however, I had to re-boot the phone for it to resolve its issue
- Even when right next to my wireless router, the signal is spotty
- The UI on this model is not as flashy/customizable as others on the market, such as the higher-end Samsung Android phones or HTC models

I'd say the Intercept is a great choice for a new smartphone user. Anyone coming from a more advanced smartphone will be disappointed in its slower performance.

waste of money!

Most awful phone ever! I am usually in love with samsung products but this phone has me wondering if their products really are all that great. This phone has the most glitches in any electronic device I have ever seen. It restarts for no reason, Freezes up during an incoming call so that I can not answer, freezes up for no reason and I have to take the battery out and restart it. I am only able to have two or three apps on this phone,(solitaire, doodles, small apps) anymore and the phone will not work at all. bought where's my water and the phone freaked out when I tried to play it. I dropped it once and the screen is obliterated. Would NEVER recommend this phone to ANYONE!!
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, not durable, slow, glitchy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Phone

Just switched from a Palm Centro to this phone and I am glad I made the switch. This phone processes information faster, has a more sleek look, and the app options can't be beat.
Minus not having I-Tunes, I can't see a difference between this phone and Apple's. Save the money and go for something just as good.

This phone is similar to the Samsung Transform Ultra, it's a little smaller, but does everything that the Ultra does. My only downfall is that you can't have a lot of apps running or else your phone will start freezing.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Great features, but needs a PC suite

I cannot down load cetain files to my phone from the pc due to eing jad. or jar. files. Samsung needs to correct this. Needs to be more compatible with the pc when it comes to all files. This phone is my computer away from home and I cannot use what I need.

I absolutely LOVE this phone. My only problem is that it randomly goes into "Flight Mode" and will not come out of it until I restart the phone. It's a nuisance when it does it a lot. Also, sometimes it abruptly closes apps and will not let you go back in until you turn your screen off and turn it back on. Other than those few things this phone is great, and a great value!

love the android market place, takes very good clear pictures and is stylish and up to date. battery life usually lasts me all day. the only bad thing i can say is sometimes i have to touch the same thing on my screen more than once for it to take and usually every other day my internet won't work and i have to just power my phone off and on and that usually fixes it
