Well I have had the phone for 2 days and have to say that it is not too bad. It is going to take some getting use to having been a blackberry user for about 5 years. The keyboard has enough room and is easy to use. The only thing that I think needs more work is the touch feel. There is some lag when pressing the back key but other than that it has not been too bad. The screen is good sized and readible. After I use this for awhile I will update this.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product has 2 major flaws for a lower end model android phone.
1. Very slow response between apps. 2. A design flaw. When trying to type using the keyboard it is very hard to hold and type at same time.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, slow, design flaw
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was my first touch screen phone. I liked it a lot, but it sometimes freezes. It takes some getting used to when you answer calls. A lot of good apps for it. Really good for playing music. It heats up a lot, and in order for you to keep your battery strength longer, you need to download the Task Manager app from the Market app already on your phone. It will turn off apps for you so that your phone lasts longer. Otherwise it will die within a day because of the constant access to the internet.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

1 YEAR LATER......I'M ON MY 2ND INTERCEPT, 5TH BATTERY, IT STILL FREEZES, ,STILL WORKS SLOW, STILL DOES IT'S OWN THING WHILE I'M ON A PHONE CALL(apparently my cheek likes to subscribe to things, surf the net, and call people on three way), STILL HAVE TO REMOVE MY BATTERY AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH, AND THIS LIST CAN GO ON AND ON.
Pros: Built-in speakers
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Too big, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

cos of the tiny RAM size, you'll be struggling to do anything on the phone... thing as basic as making a call is painful on this phone.
Cons: Not high def, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Needs LED notifier. Overall OK but needs tweeks

My first Android phone and can't believe it makes me wish for some features of my old simpler phone.
I like the ability to have a touch screen and yet the keyboard for texting, even though it adds bulk. However, the fact that it has no LED to blink to alert you that you've missed a call or text is beyond understanding. The screen goes black and unless you take time to touch it awake, you are clueless you've missed a call.
However...even more frustrating is this phone will turn on the screen to alert you when the battery is fully charged and then won't turn off! Who thought THIS was a feature anyone would want? if this is at your bedside - it's a lit screen sitting there glaring all night. Please, I beg Samsung to address the screen not turning off after battery charge
I like the SD card being accessible without having to take the back off and the camera is pretty good for a phone.
I find battery use harsh, even though I have only few apps active. This one MUST be charged daily if not more than that if you use it a lot.
I know adding a LED is not possible after the fact, but any upgrade to this phone is should be strongly considered. Perhaps they could upgrade the firmware to have the screen turn on, but extremely dimmed as a notifier you've missed a call and stay on until you turn it off. (you know, like the battery thing). I know I won't make the mistake again of buying a phone without an LED that blinks for missed calls, etc.
