Good Phone

Got the phone at a great price and had everything I was looking for plus a little extra. Only complain is the possessing power and internal memory are a little lacking.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, slide out keyboard
I would recommend this to a friend!

it a terrible phone it freezes,it battery won't go in anymore,sometimes it just a blank page,i can't go on my apps anymore.Also I only had the phone for 5 MONTHS.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations, mess up alot
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Was great until Android 2.2

I LOVED this phone until the Android 2.2 "upgrade" was installed. Now the phone is super slow, freezes up and the entire basis of the phone is different. The memo app disappeared, the calendar changed and the slider in the contacts list won't follow my finger. I went from having the most amazing phone to completely hating it...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I WISH I would have read the reviews BEFORE using my upgrade to get this phone...I have had it for 2 months thinking it would "grow" on me, the problem is it hasn't! In fact I dislike it more & more everyday (although I have always had Samsung or Blackberry phones that I LOVED)
It's SOOOOO SLOW!!! freezes up at least a dozen times a day, I get the message to force close! The phone will even ring and I won't be able to answer it because it will freeze, then I have to take out the battery and what for the phone to power back up beffore I can even use the phone. Also I'll try to go to an app or even my test messages several times and it will default back to the main screen. OH and don't get me started on the fact that the camera is awesome BUT there is NO FLASH!!!

Excellent Phone for the Price

This is the first reasonably priced Android phone to hit the market. It's got all the smart phone features you need. The 800 MHz processor makes it very responsive. The only thing you give up for the great price is screen resolution. Most of the higher end phones have prettier screens, but equal functionality. Overall this phone gets a respectable 4 out of 5.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!

This is worse than any phone I could have ever possibly imagined. And I'm not picky.
My husband and I both bought this phone at the same time. And they are both complete trash. Frequently (I'm talking like once every few days) his would not send text messages, even with 4-5 bars of service, without him having to resend the message eight or more times. And this lasts for a period of a few hours. EVERY text must be sent over and over and over and over and over before it finally works.
My phone had a different problem. It randomly corrupted and then deleted all of my photos. My photo gallery simply says "no media found."
You cannot talk on the phone without pressing buttons accidentally with your face. Very annoying.
Lastly, I have to reboot my phone at least once every few days by taking out the battery because it's so frozen the power button won't even shut it off.

Not a great phone!

I bought this phone because it was supposed to be a great android phone! I found out otherwise after I purchased it. The phone consistently freezes up, even when I properly end other applications that are running in the background. It has a very poor battery life. The processor is painfully slow. Overall I would definitely NOT recommend this to anyone. Very sad that Samsung would put this product out when it is obviously not their best.
