Worst phone ever

Can't figure out how this passed any kind of quality control.
It runs horribly slow, the screen lags or freezes, and it ends up force closing apps.
During phone calls the touch screen locks up and becomes unresponsive causing it to ring and not letting me do anything about it.
I'm not surprised Sprint took it off their website. After receiving horrible ratings and reviews I'd be embarrassed to be associated with Samsung's mistake too.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations

Get a Different Phone

Poor battery life, many things make the phone freeze, internal memory is all taken up by bloatware, not much room for my apps
Pros: internet
Cons: battery life, internal memory, needs resetting too often

This is the worst phone I have ever bought. The sales person lied straight to my face about this phone telling me it did all kinds of things and I can barely get it to make a phone call. I will be using it as a hockey puck as soon as I'm able to upgrade again because its not worth having even as a back up phone.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations, barely works

The phone locks up all the time, is slow, I have to take my battery out multiple times a day and restart the phone because it locks up so often...and that process takes forever!

This phone has been a huge disappointment. I have had the phone for a year. Originally I thought the phone was great, but the more I use it the more frustrated I get. Every update has messed up the phone. I have intermittent problems answering calls or sending text messages. Sometimes I try to send a message and the phone says the message didn't go out, but it did. The phone is slow and cumbersome to use. I can't wait to upgrade to a better phone, it just makes me crazy to think that I spent money on this phone and have to wait a year to get an upgrade.

Cool features, junk phone

This phone has great features and SHOULD be awesome, but it is so slow and unreliable that I am considering scrapping it and getting a different phone. Literally 50% of the time, the phone seems to freeze, or take such a long time to process requests (literally 3 minutes or longer is a regular occurrence, no lie) that I seriously contemplate throwing it across the room.
Seriously, if I were in an emergency and needed to call 911, there is literally a 50/50 chance that the phone won't let me dial or make a call. I actually timed it once, and from the time I first attempted to dial a number to the time the phone finished its meltdown, froze, and restarted itself, and let me make the call, literally 9 minutes. Apps nearly ALWAYS force close the first time you open them. For the price, I didn't expect something like an iphone.
But this phone costs enough that you ought to be able to trust it to place calls and operate simple apps, ESPECIALLY the ones that come pre-installed on the phone.

Samsung falling a little short

First off, I have to say, I'm a bit of a Techie, this this is alright, if you don't load it down with too many applications. Performance suffers the more you load it up, just like everything. Satellite connection is a bit flaky and slow. Ability to root it is not there, which is a bummer if you don't want to pay for the "hot spot" option. and it seems like the last phone on the list to get every update. I love the Droid OS, I dig the slide out keyboard, and the camera isn't bad, Just slow. I've found that LauncherPro helps with a lot of the limitations of this phone like Home screen orientation options.. :D
overall, not bad, but I would get something better next time.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Designers had no idea how much memory is needed ! ? !

Initially, the device was fine (but I needed FO[zen]-YO[gurt]).
That came before Christmas 2010 (12/17) -- I should have realized then, that that was it. I keep a backup (on SDcard) because the cloud just wants your money.

Just remember, when you have little memory (and flash is only a simulation), you need to keep the memory clear!
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, speakerphone is fine.
Cons: way too little!!!, get a screen protector!, get a plastic clip-on!!
I would recommend this to a friend!
