This phone frequently freezes, have application to free up ram and close all apps that are still on, but still freezes and acts so slow.. Since the first week of getting it...
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Durable
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations, freezes
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works Great At First

Cannot stand this phone. It's my first full touch screen and Android phone. Love the Android part but the performance of the actual phone is terrible. My friend has the same phone and performance is the EXACT same. We do not even have the same apps, so I know it isn't the applications. It's the phone.
Problems:
1. When I attempt to place a call from the home screen one-touch call it won't go through and hangs up 3 times.
2. When i attempt to place a call from the call log and hit the phone button to the side of a name it calls someone COMPLETELY different. Even if the person is not even on my call log.
3. When I take new pictures they sometimes will not be in my gallery for a month.
4. Photos that I have deleted pop back up in my gallery and when I open it, it is a different photo.
5. My text messages will not go through 50% of the time and when I copy and paste the same message into the text box, it places a completely different message in it, sometimes a message from the person I am texting.
6. When I attempt to type the name of the person I am trying to text it puts commas after every singly letter and will not allow me to write a name.
7. My assigned ringtones are all messed up. The phone plays ringtones that I do not even have assigned.
8. Sometimes it will have a freakshow and will constantly flash pictures and different apps.
9. It also downloads apps on its own.
These are just a few of my many complaints here's a hint - don't get this phone.

I got my FIRST intercept back in November of 2010. I had a lot of issues with the phone being slow, which is normal for a smart phone, as they have their quirks. The longer I had it, the more issues it had. It started to not respond to me answering calls until they were missed, not allowing me to snooze when an alarm would go off, and the phone freezing for extended periods of time (thus making me take the battery out). Once the battery was out, it would take 5-10 times to get the phone to power back on. I got a replacement phone and wasn't charged anything because there was NO DAMAGE to the phone. My replacement phone worked GREAT for a couple months, and now I am in the same boat. Am I the only one with this problem?
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, malfunctioning, slow

Doesnt run flash, tends to lock up, pass on it.

If you wish to use it just as a phone it will do fine. If you wish to use it as a smart phone get another. At the moment more and more apps are coming out and this phones proccessor is too slow. Flash is in the newer Androids but you cant get it for this one. Do yourself a favor save up for a better one if you dont wish to be on contract. As the saying goes you get what you pay for.

This product has very poor quality

Phone always gets stuck and screen goes black, when calls come thru display shows nothing, phone qwerty keyboard does not press the right buttons. Phone has had nothing but problems since day one I will never buy this name brand again.

I could not be more frustrated at the moment with my phone. It freezes up CONSTANTLY. I am totally a person who has no music, few pictures and few downloaded apps to save space and keep my phone running smoothly. I kill tasks AT LEAST once an hour just to keep my phone from freaking out. Let alone when I attempt to answer my calls. Half the time I can't pick up or even see who is calling. I can barely unlock the phone because it gets so mixed up. I'd trade this phone in in a second if I could. It's so frustrating. I love all that it can do, but doesn't do what it's supposed to 80% of the time.
