I am in Texas and kitchens get extremely hop here in the summer, yes, I have AC. I use my 3 in 1 cooker to limit the amount of heat generated in my kitchen. If it is a casserole recipe I can make it It is the perfect sized slow cooker. here. If something needs to be cooked in advance I just do it in here - not extra pots to clean up. The smaller size also doesn't fill up the dishwasher. I am very happy with my purchase.

Such a terrific improvement over older, more traditional crock pots. Love the multiple cooking modes, made creating a beef stew and a roast so much easier. Big bonus: cleanup was a snap.
