So far, I have used this item to steam some veggies and I worked just great. Next test, plan to make some beef stew, using it as a slow cooker. Like that I can brown the meat in the same utensil as the entire meal. Anticipate no problems.

I do love this product, except for the very problem others have noted, the main pot scratches much too easily! I am very careful to use the correct utensils to not damage the finish and I already have a scratch! I have used it only a few times, my product is brand new! Will warranty give me a new pot? For the price I spent, I am hoping so.

Love being able to brown meat before cooking in the same pot. Love that it’s now dishwasher safe! I use it almost daily!! The inside finish starts to wear out before the pot does—the only flaw.

I've used this multi-cooker for almost a month now and I've found it very easy to use, easy to clean, and cooks food efficiently in accordance with the recommended times in most recipes.
