My concerns would be it is a little noisy when making ice and kicking on and off and when dispensing ice and water from the door. Also the light bulb cover in the freezer keeps coming off (plastic cover may have been cut too short).
I would recommend this to a friend!

wrong engireering design in some aspects

The leveling of the doors after installation is a pain, as once you have food in the door shelves they shift and you have to readjust again. The ice maker very slow to work even with good water pressure had to remove the inline filter to finally get it working. The frame of the refrig not very sturdy as have to use leveling feet to sturdy the unit. One would think that a built in hose for connecting water would be with the unit, but no have to buy one. Door shelving poor designed as have to accomadate the drawers in the unit or doors won't shut. I had an older Whirlpool unit was very please with it no problems at all and that ice maker made big cubes and alot faster. The dispenser itself is of poor design big long opening and the handle to actuate the system are at the very top. If and when the next time I need to purchase a new refrig I will probably think twice on my choice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Over all I am very happy with this product. I have used the pull out ice bin often to fill ice chests. I like the open door indicator, it is a good reminder. My only problem is that the water filter lasts only about 6 months. I love the space in the freezer and how easy it is to see what you have. I also like the large door bins and the three drawers, they help keep things visible and accessible.

We really like our new fridge. It has plenty of room, its easy to use and makes ice really quick. I think it is a great value for the cost. In addition, I really like the styling and it is easy to keep clean.

What sold me was the ice and water dispenser. The design of the ice maker is totally incorporated on the door leaving more room in the freezerI had to buy an extra shelf but it was worth it. Ok Whirlpool guys... Add the extra shelf.Of all the other manufacturers out there, this ice maker set up is the best I've seen. And I looked at them all.

Beautiful Refrigerator

We had to replace our old refrigerator which was a 20 year old Whirlpool so it was a no brainer to stick with the Whirlpool line. Our new refrigerator has glass trays and are easily adjustable to accommodate heights of bottles and cartons. The temperature at all levels keeps the food cold and the meat and cheese bins get even colder air from the freezer which can be adjusted. The stainless steel door looks very nice in our kitchen but also shows finger prints fairly easily. These prints come right off with a wipe of damp towel so I if you like the look of stainless be aware that a little more maintenance may be necessary to keep the frig looking good. The ice bin makes ice pretty quick but is a little noisy when it dumps a fresh batch of cubes. Also, the ice bin does not hold as much ice as our old Whirlpool so if you are going to have a party you may want to empty the bin of ice into some storage bags or buy a bag of ice to make sure you do not run out. This is no big deal unless you constantly plan to entertain large groups of people. The controls on the door are nicely done and the LED exterior light that shines on the ice/water dispenser has two levels of brightness that can be used. I don't think you can buy a better refrigerator for the price that has all of the features that come with this model.
